FAQ

Hey Forlonians,  I’ve been getting some regular questions about specifications in the rules, find them here or always feel free to email me at simonjohnlacey@gmail.com

CAN ISLANDERS MOVE THROUGH EACH OTHER?

No, Islanders cannot occupy the same space, wether it is yours or the enemies.  This makes the game more strategic in how you build your Islander formations.

DO ISLANDERS BLOCK LINE-OF-SIGHT?

Yes, all Islanders block line-of-sight.  Wether is is yours or the enemies, you must strategically position you Islanders.  This allows the sailors to become great meat shields when preforming tactical moves on opponents.

EXHAUSTED VS. DEAD?

Printed on the back is an exhausted and a dead logo.  Exhausted is simply there for your reference to flip your islander cards once you have used them.  This is to help keep track of whom you have played this turn.

DO ISLANDERS START WITH FULL BRINE?

Yes, all Islanders begin the game with a full and stocked brine.  The game is largely a battle of attrition where everyone begins full until they are widdled down to the bone.

ACTIONS TO DESTORY?

Some character created tiles take actions to destroy.  Anything that would deal damage to that tile would be an action to destroy.  A charge for instance would count as an action to destroy.   Shooting it once would count as an action to destroy.  The amount damage is irrelevant so long as the action or ability deals damage.

POND AND RIVER?

So the two maps are known as the Pond and the River.  When looking at how to set up the map, it is referencing it as to which map you should be using.
